Resident engineer Paul McInally is fully accustomed to the studio and can cater for multiple styles of music.
Paul is a highly diverse recording engineer, having worked extensively with rock, metal, hip-hop and electronic artists to orchestral and Scottish folk musicians. He has recently worked on projects with TeKlo, Rufio Summers, Nina Nesbitt, TeenCanteen, Swallows, Huevo and the Giant, The Wakes, Sonic Templars, Hunt / Gather, 4 Past Midnight, The Sinking Feeling, Forgotten Sunday, The Preventers, Soho Dandy, GreatCop, Failed At Sea, Casey Ryback, Black & White Boy, Junebug, The Lotus Project, Anna Sweeney, Aboriginals, Two Towns Apart, Felix Champion, Calum Gilligan, Life On Standby, Perpetual Motion, Mistake Pageant, The Heretics, composer & director Tim Courtney, Factotum Films, Two Years In Russia, Failed At Sea, Front Room Tunes, Self, Benjamin Ellis, the Pavilion Theatre, Chris Hughes, piping champion Derek Midgley, The Collective, Route 1, Strange October, Fiona Soe Paing, Caledonian Voices, Uplight & the Caledonia String Quartet. Whilst also participating in dozens of projects internationally solely as the mixing engineer, Paul developed a signature production trait of a "large but organic" mix. We also welcome external producers and engineers to use the studio. Engineers can be assisted by Paul, or dry hire the studio with an introduction to the signal flow and aid on their first day of tracking or mixing. |
